Qld: Police head to full-moon party as part of murder probe

Police will attend a full-moon party tonight .. hoping for clues to who murdered a
young Brisbane mother strangled at a lover's lookout.

22-year-old BIANCA GIRVEN was attacked at Gertrude Perry Park at Mt Gravatt about midnight
on March 30.

She'd gone there with her boyfriend RHYS AUSTIN after the Moonlight Festival at Orleigh
Park in West End.

The festival's on again tonight to coincide with the full moon .. and police inspector
ROD KEMP says that hopefully revellers may remember something that can help the investigation.

Ms GIRVEN'S mother SONIA ANDERSON says she's doing her best to comfort her 16-month-old
grandson ZIGGY .. who still wakes at night asking for his mum.
